2. Too tight under his tail... Please FEEL under the tail to assure a gentle and comfortable fit. There cant be "slack" in the straps along back, but micro adjust 1/2" at a time until it wont shift left or right on the hips... but still gentle under the tail. Like pajama's fit... gentle pressure.
3. The wag strap is too tight. Unless the wound is activily bleeding allow the tail to lift UP (about half way as high as backbone) to go potty. He/She will be happier this way. However, for actively bleeding tails bind tail downward and take it off at potty time. 8-24 hours is often enough like this.
4. Is his back humped or arched up? That is a sure sign that it is too tight under the tail. Feel with your hand under there, it should be a GENTLE pressure. Loosen it and send us a photo if it's falling off. we will check 1. wag strap, 2. harness securely fit, 3. If smaller sleeve is needed
5. Each time your dog does an activity that is normal for him/her he will feel happier. Walking, sitting, laying (make sure he can curl up, eating, training, jumping, playing or a walk. It all helps with speeding up the adjustment period.
