Anal Glands, Bad Smell, Stinky Odor

Glands near pups rear can release bad smells if pressed

If you smell a foul odor on the tail sleeve you please check the pressure under the tail.   It should be a very gentle pressure, not enough to expel the anal glands.   We have had a few customers who needed to remove the foam that's inside the under-tail pad to prevent pressure against those glands.   It's not typically needed, but as a last effort you can make a tiny slit in the undertail pad and slip the foam out of it.
